Dr. Muren Herrid
Scientific Advisor
Dr. Muren Herrid, an Australian national, is a highly accomplished researcher with a Ph.D. from the University of New England, has significantly advanced livestock reproductive technologies over two decades. Notably, he led a groundbreaking team at CSIRO, securing $AUD 16 million for testis germ cell transplantation in sheep and cattle.
Dr. Herrid's practical applications include developing a commercial camel vitrification kit and achieving a 25% pregnancy rate in cloned embryo transfer at Reinclonation. With extensive expertise in embryology and molecular techniques, he aims to deliver top-tier livestock sciences to organizations in the global south through GLOSTA, collaborating with Dr. Rajneesh Verma.
